Argentina taxes lottery and similar prizes under Law 20,630: a 31% rate applied to 90% of the prize (an effective 27.9%), withheld at source by the paying entity, on prizes above an indexed exempt minimum. Prizes below the exempt threshold are not taxed, and provincial levies may also apply to some games.
