Every Nigeria game on this site, ranked by top-prize odds, with the tax rules and the regulator. All odds derived from the published rules.
| Game | Top-prize odds | Any-prize odds | Ticket | Cost per unit of jackpot chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Baba Ijebu (Premier Lotto) | 1 in 43,949,268 | 1 in 43,949,268 | — | — |
Shorter odds are not automatically better value — shorter-odds games pay smaller top prizes. Cost per unit of chance (price × odds) is the cleanest single comparison.
From 1 January 2026, the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 imposes withholding tax on lottery and gaming winnings — 5% for residents and 15% for non-residents — deducted before payout; previously winnings were largely untaxed for individuals. Lottery regulation is also in transition following a 2024 Supreme Court ruling shifting authority toward the states, so verify current rules with a local adviser.
