Czech lottery winnings above 1,000,000 Kč are subject to 15% withholding tax.
Since 1 January 2024, any single lottery or raffle win above CZK 50,000 is subject to 15% withholding tax (previously the exemption was CZK 1 million). Wins of CZK 50,000 or less per ticket are exempt; for betting and casino games the CZK 50,000 limit applies to annual net winnings per game type instead.
